Terms & Participant Agreement

We are so delighted to welcome you to Bali.

This retreat has been thoughtfully created as an intimate experience of movement, rest, connection, culture and adventure. These terms are here to make sure we begin our journey with shared expectations and a clear understanding of our individual responsibilities.

By registering for and participating in the Studio Air Bali Retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

RETREAT REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Your retreat reservation is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit.

All retreat balances must be paid in full by the stated final payment deadline. Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in the release of your reservation unless other arrangements have been made with Studio Air in writing.

Retreat pricing and any individual discounts or payment arrangements are specific to the participant and reservation for which they were offered.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Because retreat accommodations, reservations and other arrangements are secured in advance on your behalf, retreat payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Studio Air.

If you are unable to attend, please contact Studio Air as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to explore available options, but refunds, credits or transfers cannot be guaranteed.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended, including coverage appropriate for trip cancellation or interruption, medical care while abroad, delays and lost or delayed baggage.

TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES

Each participant is responsible for arranging and paying for their own airfare unless specifically stated otherwise.

Participants are also responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport, appropriate entry documentation, required visas or permissions, and that they meet applicable travel and entry requirements for Indonesia.

Participants are responsible for arriving with adequate time to participate in scheduled retreat transportation and activities.

Studio Air is not responsible for missed or cancelled flights, airline schedule changes, lost luggage, passport or entry issues, or other travel disruptions outside of our control.

HEALTH & PERSONAL WELL-BEING

Retreat activities may include yoga, meditation, walking, hiking, wellness practices, excursions and other physical activities.

You are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for you and for communicating any relevant limitations, injuries, allergies or health considerations that may affect your participation.

Participation in any activity is always your choice. You are welcome to modify or decline an activity when needed.

Studio Air retreat offerings are intended to support general well-being and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or professional medical care.

Participants are responsible for obtaining any medical advice, medications or travel-health preparation they may need before departure.

ACTIVITIES, EXCURSIONS & THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS

Our retreat may include transportation, accommodations, excursions, meals, guides, wellness practitioners and other experiences provided by independent third parties.

Studio Air carefully selects and coordinates these experiences but does not own or control these independent businesses and cannot guarantee their actions, operations or availability.

By choosing to participate in activities such as hiking, swimming, transportation, cultural excursions or other retreat experiences, you acknowledge that travel and physical activities carry inherent risks and voluntarily accept those ordinary risks.

ITINERARY CHANGES

Bali has its own rhythm—and occasionally our plans may need to move with it.

Studio Air reserves the right to reasonably adjust the itinerary, accommodations, transportation, activities or providers when circumstances require it, including weather, safety considerations, local conditions, closures, availability or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Whenever possible, we will communicate changes promptly and provide a comparable alternative.

CULTURAL RESPECT & COMMUNITY CARE

We are visitors and guests in Bali.

Participants agree to behave respectfully toward Balinese people, customs, sacred spaces, retreat staff, fellow travelers and the environment.

Appropriate attire and conduct may be required when visiting temples, sacred sites and other public or culturally significant spaces. We ask everyone to follow the guidance of our local hosts and guides.

Our intimate retreat community is also part of the experience. We ask each participant to contribute to an environment of kindness, respect, personal responsibility and consideration for others.

Studio Air reserves the right to limit or discontinue a participant's involvement in an activity—or, in serious circumstances, the retreat—if their conduct creates a significant safety concern or substantially disrupts the experience of others.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Participants are responsible for their own passports, money, electronics, luggage and personal belongings.

Studio Air cannot assume responsibility for belongings that are lost, stolen or damaged during travel or the retreat.

PHOTOGRAPHY & PRIVACY

We may take photographs or short videos during the retreat to capture our shared experience.

Your comfort matters. If you prefer not to appear in photographs or promotional content, please let us know. We will honor that preference.

We also ask participants to be thoughtful about one another's privacy when sharing retreat photos or stories publicly.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL

Studio Air cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil disruption, transportation interruptions, public-health events or other unforeseen circumstances.

If such an event affects the retreat, Studio Air will make reasonable efforts to adapt the experience and communicate available options.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By completing your retreat registration and/or final payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Retreat Terms & Participant Agreement and voluntarily choose to participate in the Studio Air Bali Retreat.

Most importantly, you agree to arrive with respect for yourself, your fellow travelers and the beautiful place that will be welcoming us.
